Kulas Dominik's Portfolio

A monochrome, typography-led portfolio for a fullstack engineer — every project gets its own case study, and every role its own page.

About the project

Kulas Dominik is a fullstack engineer who works across secure Java backends, React frontends and React Native mobile apps. His work spans telemetry platforms, internal systems and mobile clients, and most of it lives behind logins that a recruiter will never see. The brief was a portfolio that shows the engineering behind each project, not just the screenshots, and still reads in seconds.

The site opens with his name set in oversized type over an animated ridge-line canvas. A rotating headline cycles through what he builds — secure backends, reactive APIs, mobile apps, clean interfaces — next to direct links to the work and GitHub. Everything is black, white and grey, so the content carries the page.

The "Selected work" section leads with a featured project and a grid of cards that come into color on hover. Each project opens a full case study covering the architecture, the hard problems and how they were solved. The "Where I've shipped" list does the same for his career: every company has its own page with the role, period, highlights and the tools used there.

The page closes with a playful "Say hello." headline whose letters react to gravity over a dot field, one-click email copy and links to LinkedIn and GitHub. Under the hood it is a statically exported Next.js build with a separate page and metadata for every project and role, shipped as a Docker container behind Nginx and Cloudflare.
